Personal Comments as to Tuesday Jan. 20 and Wednesday Jan. 21. The Inauguration & Prayer Service

•Looking towards the Capital and seeing the mass of people was an incredible sight
•I felt the crowd was disrespectful to our outgoing president by barely acknowledging him when he was ushered onto the seating platform.
•Dr. Joseph E. Lowery’s prayer was more of a speech than a prayer.
•Michelle Obama was looking all around during Rick Warren’s prayer.
•Obama did put his hand over his heart during the playing of the national anthem on Tuesday and did the same during the prayer service on Wednesday.
•Michelle Obama, the Bidens and Bill Clinton did not place their hands over their hearts when the anthem was played at the prayer service.
•Michelle Obama looked really bummed out about having to be at the prayer service.
