Tuesday after the oath of office, I will have to say, Obama is my President. Should I be happy about that? Yes. Am I happy about that? No. I hope and pray that our new President is a true American but I truly doubt it. This past Friday night my wife and I watched the New Hanover teams play the Hoggard teams. Before the start of the boys game we were all asked to remove our hats to show our respect to the flag while the anthem was played. We saw no one wearing a hat but we did see many, many spectators and some players and coaches who weren't showing their respect for the flag of our country by not placing their hands over their hearts. We have a video taken of Obama during one of his campaign appearances standing on the stage with3 other people. He was the only one not placing his hand on his heart. E.J. Dionne Jr. said in his column on Saturday that "for the past two years, Barack Obama has made it hard for anyone to pin him down philosophically." I would like to know where he truly stands patriotically. We have as a country largely forgotten that fateful day of Sept. 11, 2001. Among my other concerns, I worry that Barack Hussein Obama is a closet Muslim who does not have the best interests of the American people at heart. In fact, I believe he is attempting to be all things to all people. Some have characterized him as audacious. He has to be to fool the electorate by comparing himself to Abraham Lincoln.
